Ergonomics
The ergonomic design of the GT Racer B-5757 takes into account the main areas of body contact with the chair: the back, lower back, head, arms, and lower body. As a result, the seating system covers not just one specific area but forms an integrated configuration for working at a desk. The soft seat provides a resilient seating base. A separate lumbar support helps form the appropriate configuration for the lower part of the backrest. The position of the head and arms is also taken into account in the design of the model. The user can adjust the respective support elements independently without changing the main structure of the chair.
Wear resistance
The model is designed for a maximum load of up to 120 kg and is intended for regular use in home or professional office environments. The construction is designed to withstand the repetitive loads associated with everyday use: frequent sitting down and standing up, movement within the workspace, and regular operation of the adjustment mechanisms. For long-term service, the manufacturer recommends using the chair within the specified load limit. Reclining backrest
The backrest consists of two parts, is equipped with lumbar support, and can be adjusted to an angle ranging from 90° to 130°. This makes it possible to select a specific position according to the current way the chair is being used.
At 90°, the backrest is in an upright position. As the angle increases, it gradually reclines backward, reaching 130° at its maximum setting.
This range covers both a working configuration and a more reclined position. The angle can be set within the limits provided by the model’s construction.
3D Armrests
The B-5757 is equipped with plastic 3D armrests. The position of each support can be adjusted according to the user’s arm position. This allows the armrests to be set so that they correspond to a specific working configuration.
The plastic construction provides a firm support surface and does not require complicated maintenance.
Synchro mechanism
The Synchro mechanism is responsible for the rocking function. Its key feature is the synchronized movement of the seat and backrest. When the backrest reclines, the seat also changes its position along the trajectory defined by the mechanism. Thus, the movement does not occur through the separate movement of only one element.
Gaslift mechanism
The seat height is adjusted using a Eurostandard gas lift. This pneumatic mechanism provides vertical seat adjustment. A control lever located beneath the seat is used to change the height. Pressing the lever activates the mechanism, after which the seat can be set to the desired level.
The gas lift allows the height to be precisely adjusted in relation to the working surface.
Sheathing material
The seat and backrest are made of mesh. The material has a porous structure that allows air to pass freely through the surface. This feature is particularly suitable for a chair involving prolonged body contact: the mesh does not create a dense, impermeable layer and does not hinder airflow.
Base and frame
The GT Racer B-5757 frame is made of nylon. This material is used to form the main load-bearing part of the structure. The five-star base is also made of nylon. It has five spokes with casters installed at their ends.
This base keeps the chair stable while also allowing it to move across the working surface. The caster design makes it possible to change the chair’s position without lifting it off the floor.
