Felik is a robot with artificial intelligence for pets

Few of us manage to spend a lot of time at home. We work, communicate with friends or relatives, forgetting that our animals also need our attention and care. They consist in not only the timely feeding and scratching behind the ear occasionally. When we go from home to work or study, cats and dogs are left alone. The first 15 minutes of them cover panic and feelings of abandonment. This is an instinct and you will not be able to do anything about it. However, if you distract an animal, then panic attacks can be avoided. The American company Angry Lychee LLC from Seattle introduced a novelty - Felik Artificial Intelligence, which will entertain your pets with a funny game of catch up, track their behavior, stream video to the app so you can always know what your fluffy is doing until you're near with him.
Features of the novelty
The bulk of pet products is designed for dogs more than cats. For some reason, people love dogs much more, compared to cats. That is absolutely in vain, because the cats bring comfort in the house, do not require a walk, and they will not cheat they will become so often. We agree - the cat always walks by itself, however, we consider it unfair that they have so few toys and funny fun. Similarly, manufacturers of today's novelties, which are designed for cats and dogs, also think.
The robot has a modern stylish look and can decorate any interior. His main feature is that he does not come into close contact with the animal, playing with him at a distance. The work can be attached to the wall, or put on a shelf, from which it will not be so easy to throw it down. The device is powered by a power supply, so its charge will be virtually infinite. Anyway, until there are interruptions in the grid. The novelty has the built-in video camera, which removes as 720p. At any given time, with the help of a specialized application for the smartphone, you will be able to see what your pet is doing at the time of your absence.
Felik uses a laser and an infrared camera for fun with your pet. He mimics the laser beam on the floor or walls of the prey, awakening the hunting instinct of your animals and forcing him to hunt for him. Remember how cats love to run around the light of a flashlight or a laser pointer and catch it in the air, on the floor, or on the wall. Felik designs a similar beam, only bigger, and, doing so in such a way that your cat or dog could make it through. The used infrared sensor fixes the position of your animal now and directs the beam, turning it in a tact for the movements of your fluffy.
The mobile app is cross-platform and can work with both the iOS and Android operating systems. You do not need your direct participation for his work. It is enough to make all the settings right in the app, set the game schedule, and the rest of the work Felik will do for you. The webcam has very wide viewing angles - 170° and 4-x magnification, which allows you to watch remotely your pets. In the application, it is possible to customize the settings of the laser to work in accordance with the parameters of a cat or dog - increase / decrease the speed, adjust the beam size.
The first connection occurs literally in a few simple steps. The main thing - do not forget to connect it to your home network over the internet via Wi-Fi. All settings can also be adjusted remotely, so you can easily leave your pet one for a few days. The main thing is that he has enough feed and water, as well as a clean bathroom. With regard to entertainment, Felik will manage here and himself. The manufacturer promises to improve the application in the future in order to diversify the available set of features. If in the room where the robot is installed there are zones in which the animal cannot be (favorite armchair, TV, cupboard), then set them programmatically, and Felik will never direct his beam to the other side.
Thanks to artificial intelligence, laser naturally, just as it allegedly plays the robot acts played by the owner personally with animals, anticipating their desires and further actions. Using a quad-core processor, Felik learns in the process of interacting with your pet and continues to adapt to it individually. The robot is intended for use as an individual and several animals. Therefore, if you have several pets, the robot will be able to play with them all.
